Saving Bandwidth with Mobile Broadband
I have just moved and needed some kind of internet connection and the best choice was for pay as you go broadband.But as I have bought the dongle was still a little short on cash to buy a monthly top up so I had to work for some days with just the 100mb download limit.To save bandwidth I disabled Automatic updates and turned of images from being downloaded another thing was that I visit mostly the same sites everyday so it was not a good idea to clear the cache .It has done me for a few days now and I have managed to get the week from just the 100mb I had free with the Usb modem.

Best Linux Distro for Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo
Just some weeks ago I bought a new used laptop a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo because there was something wrong with the motherboard on my Acer. Although I tested the notebook before I bought it with with an Ubuntu and Linux mint live Cd which both worked apart from the screen resolutions being set to 1600×1200 which I thought was just an X-config probem that I could edit after I installed Linux,But this was not the biggest problem because after installing multiple linux based operating systems including PCOsLinux,Mint,Xubuntu,Lubuntu and DeliLinux.

Smooth Scrolling extension for Chrome
I find on my laptop that when I use PgUp or PgDn that the webpage I am viewing will jump too far down through the text that I am reading so I done a search for smooth scrolling in Google Chrome as there seemed to be no options for smooth scrolling for Chrome in the now newly named under the bonnet unlike firefox.So I found this handy extension for chrome that helps you adjust how the PgUp and PgDn also the arrow keys and how the behave in the browser window.
