Why would people come from Search engines to Search your blog. If people don't see the Topic within a few Seconds they will not Look any more and Go Back to Google or the Site they came From. This is the Reason I use lijit as it Stands out a little better unlike ugly custom search if you are going to add site search function you better have lot's of Content for people to search through otherwise they will not look for content on an Almost empty Blog.

One way to Improve Site Search is By using many Tags and Labels as Visitors will be a little Impressed when they See many Topics and might want to look around a little more.But this is not Always the case as people are impateint and will not look if they do not find what they were looking for on the first attempt and you blog will stand no chance of being searched for something they think is not there.
